Spiky Sun

Hello darlings,

I’m enjoying more and more these spring days. The sun has been rather spiky, but still it has made an appearance almost daily lately so I cannot complain (I live in England after all).

As I said I will, I spent my weekend travelling and it was awesome. I had an urge to travel at least for a bit and this short trip fed my wanderlust…for now. Even though it was quite short, I had time to shoot some pictures so I will tell you more about the trip when I show you my travel outfit!

Still, with the Awards Ceremony on Friday and the trip on Saturday & Sunday, this weekend left me longing for… a weekend haha! The lack of sleep starts slowly kicking in so I’m trying to manage my time the best way I can so that I get to rest at least the minimum that keeps me going.

I don’t know about you, but when I am tired, all I want to wear is super cozy clothes and comfy shoes. Definitely comfy shoes. So I tend to go for a more casual sporty look. I had my eye on these type of shoes for a while now and at the beginning I didn’t know how I felt about them, then I started to like them and then I found these pretty white ones on sale in H&M and I thought I’d give them a go. There are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever worn. Good investment – checked!

I’ve noticed that lately I would go for this style more and more in my spare time. Maybe because it’s my little escape from office wear and it says loud and clear free time, or maybe just because it’s really comfy, but either way, I’m totally in. It’s funny noticing how my style changes, I have always loved formal wear and office wear and all kind of feminine styles, and trust me, I still do. But seeing that I have added this style to my favourites, which, if you’d asked me one year ago, I have had said no way – it’s quite interesting.

But isn’t that why we love fashion? It’s always evolving, there’s always something more to explore and it gives you the chance to reinvent yourself over and over again and discover sides of you that maybe you didn’t even know were there or which you weren’t quite keen on developing.

In the end, it’s all about you – about growing as a person and doing that while wearing an outfit that empowers you most at that moment is the best thing you can do!
