Hello my dear,

As you’ve probably noticed on my Instagram I have been checking in and out of airports and hotels lately so I thought I’d check in here as well and give you my latest updates as I’ve been absent from the blogosphere for a bit. As much as the blog is on my mind every single day, I had to move it further down my priorities list so I haven’t posted as often as I would have liked to. However, I have been shooting outfits, brainstorming content ideas and I have some concepts so good that I just know you’ll love them!

But as you probably already know by now, I’m quite self critical and so my work has to reach a certain standard – mine! Which is probably the harshest of them all! So it’ll be a while until I implement all the changes, but when I do, they’ll look just how I want them.

Until then, while I (try to) stay on top of my busy lifestyle, I thought I’d share with you this outfit that goes easily from day to night, allows you to run around doing errands and ticking things off your to-do list, all while looking well put together, and when the night comes, just take the blazer off and you’re ready to catch the happy hour!

In all seriousness now, I’ve found that living in a busy city while being a busy girl really means that your outfits need to be very versatile, especially when working in the fashion industry – you never know what event you might end up to after work or who you’ll come across while attending a networking evening.

I loved this top from the second I saw it exactly because of that – it is so versatile! It goes with jeans, trousers, skirts, you name it and it is appropriate for both day and night events, without looking boring or basic. That has always been my problem when buying tops, I end up not buying them because they look too basic and not unique enough so then I keep wondering why do I never have enough tops (true story, sadly). Well this one, with the corset-like look and with the sleeves seemed unique enough so my wardrobe is starting to have some tops in it – yay! However, it’s all baby steps, so if you see a cute, unique top, please do let me know, I will probably always be on the look out for them!

I also shot these in the place where the busyness is served on the daily – Canary Wharf and I have to say, I really love how the buildings and their reflections look like, so if you are looking for photoshoot places in London, you should definitely check this one out!

Now that I filled you with enough tips and tricks to forget that I’ve been gone for a while I’ll let you have a look at the pictures below and I’ll be back soon (promise!).

Kisses, D.
