Hello babes, As I am touring Romania (check my insta for details!) I am sitting in my hotel room looking at graduation dresses and looking for inspiration in all the new collections that we’ve seen throughout fashion month. I’ve spammed my insta stories with them, so you have surely seen them! (sorry not sorry). So I thought as a throwback, I’ll share with you my London Fashion Week memories. I attended LFW for one day honouring an invitation to Paul Costelloe’s show, which was impressive beyond words. The dresses were beautiful and I wanted to buy every single one of them! For the show I wore an outfit inspired from Marta Jacubowski & Stella McCartney’s collections, presented earlier during Fashion Week. I went for something stylish, but also quite comfortable, an outfit ready to take me through Central Line at rush hour! And it worked, my heels were comfortable enough to take me through the day, even though the usual outfit ‘malfunction’ happened in the sens that my boots did not stay ‘over the knee’ throughout the day without my help here and there. But all in all, I enjoyed wearing my outfit, and that is the most important thing for me always, to wear a stylish outfit that gives me the confidence to enjoy my day without thinking too much about it. With that in mind, I’m off browsing some more outfits for my graduation – please let me know if you have any suggestions! Love, D. I was wearing: Skirt – H&M Shirt – Vintage Poncho – Vero Moda Necklace – Avon Boots – New Look Bag...

Hello darlings, It’s been a while and so, so many things have happened! That many that it will take me more than one post to tell you everything without you getting bored or lost in all my tales! So I’ll start with the most impactful and recent one – my work at Cannes Film Festival. Even if the festival ended only two weeks ago, I already struggle to remember everything in detail because of how dynamic everything was. The festival took place between the 17th and the 28th May this year and it was my first year attending it. I flew over with a team of PR professionals in my first graduate adult adventure as a PR & Marketing person. I wrote articles, liaised with press, was part of the organising team of a Celebrity Suite, met lots and lots of people and tasted the craziness of what goes behind a huge event like this. Everyone sees the festival as a glamorous experience and now looking at my pictures, I realise why, but truth is, as an insider, as someone that works behind the scenes, I can tell you it is not all pink and bubbly, but rather rushed, last minute, spontaneous and exhausting. Not that glamorous, huh? But at the end of the day, the reason why it’s so exhausting is that there is so much to do during the day and so many events to attend during the night, that there is little to no time left for sleeping or eating! Truth is, they were some 2 weeks hard to keep up with, but I have learnt...

I woke up this morning, well, struggled to wake up as it was an easy morning with nothing much planned and that doesn’t happen often these days so I wanted it to last for as long as possible. Anyways, I woke up being cold, thinking about warmer days and summer thrills. But then I realised I did not have many more late mornings or free time, apart from my few weeks of holidays, in which I regularly woke up early to make the most of my time with family and friends or if I was at the seaside to get to the beach and get some tan on. I feel like the lifestyle I am perpetually choosing is making me be a morning person. I still am not, by nature, but I “have” to be. Either to get the most out of my day or to get everything done. I am not enjoying the actual morning bit, but then I must say I enjoy having more time to get things done. However, in the rush that I live in, I am craving a holiday and couldn’t be happier that Christmas is coming, but I am a very summery person, so what I really crave is a summer holiday. Light dresses, pretty sunsets and that summer wind that gently touches your skin and leaves it tanned. So, with all these thoughts, I remembered about this summer photo shoot that I haven’t had posted yet. It was right at the beginning of my holiday, so I was not tanned AT ALL (see super white legs) but I was very happy, that...

Friyaaaaay!! Well, it’s been a long week. A very long week. It’s been rushed and it’s been full of to do’s so I am looking forward to a little break aka the weekend. You know how they say that you should get away from the city for a break? Well I have always had my own ways of doing things, so what do I do for a break? I escape to a bigger city. I am looking forward to a weekend of city rush, just because it would not be me rushing, I would be nicely walking around, enjoying a bit of early Christmas feeling at the Christmas markets and hopefully get to see a bit more of this big city – Bristol, as I have only seen snippets so far. I’ve shot this outfit last time I was in Bristol at Cabot Circus. It’s the kind of outfit one would wear at the weekend – laid back with the final touch being a big, cozy coat. That I got as a bargain at a Romanian seasonal fair, by the way – scooore! However, there is one element I think about when I dress in a sweatshirt or hoodie – and lately I do it quite a lot, because it’s cozy and warm and you know – winter is coming. That is make up or accesories, or in this case both, as it was a city outfit. I feel like I want to make it stand out a bit, otherwise it won’t be much different than the outfit I wear while I’m at home Netflixing. So, of course, a...

Somehow, when I was looking through these pictures, this is the title that they inspired me with – Faded. For some reason. And I decided to go with it. Maybe because I have faded away for a while and have not posted, I haven’t been as active on Social Media either (that means nothing though, I probably still posted a lot!). Ever since I started this blog I said I’ll always be genuine and post what I feel and I did not feel like posting, hence the lack of updates. However, I have to emphasize that it’s not the passion that faded, but instead I felt like lacking motivation and inspiration, and since all my activities were a bit paused or slowed down for January, I thought a break might be a good thing. I know, it might seem the exact opposite to how I started the year – full of motivation and ready for big things. Trust me, I still am! It’s just that I always trust my instinct and I go with it, and slowing down seemed the right thing to do. I think every creative person has these times when they just need to take a few steps back instead of running forward, because they might actually feel more inspired afterwards. You know, just like pulling an arrow, the more it goes backwards, the speedier it gets! How did I know that it’s time to come back? Yesterday I found myself saying “I miss posting a blog post” so again I went with the flow and wrote all this down. I used to be very worried...
