Cozy Winter

Cozy Winter

Hello, hello, I am currently sitting in the library, going through my assignments and revising, so I thought this would be a good time for me to share some stuff with you and post some new pictures! Yes, I am trying to find excuses for my procrastination, but I am writing new content here soooo…still productive hehe! I told you I worked a lot for my blog when I was at home, so this month I will share with you all the outfits that I shot and all the beautiful locations I was in! Partly because I am homesick and being home feels like ages away and partly because I really wanted to bring a bit of snowy winter wonderland to the blog to help us through these January blues we are all experiencing right now! So when I was in Romania all I did was cozy up in big sweaters. It was really cold, so warm sweaters were my go to all day, every day! And you know me, I can’t resist the temptation of going through my mum’s closet when I’m at home, so my options became limitless! I found this sweater and this coat and I was surprised to find out that they weren’t bought together or from the place or even in the same year! Stunning, huh? I thought they look amazing together so I chose them for a little roadtrip. These pictures were taken at “Moara de VĂ¢nt”, a beautiful place not far away from Cluj, my hometown, where for a small fee you can spend some time with animals, feed them (they provide...
On To 2017

On To 2017

Happy New Year! I am back to work and hustle, so I thought I’d find a minute to catch up with you here and write my first post from 2017. A new year – sounds like a big deal. Is it? Well I don’t neccessarily see it as a “New year, new me” thing, but I like seeing it as a new beginning, a chance for me to write new goals down and actually it’s a time of the year when I feel very motivated. December is usually a month when I am not that motivated as it’s a month when I review my year – the good, the bad, and usually I tend to be very self critical. The good part is, all this month, which can turn into a down time at that moment, becomes the foundation of me being bery motivated to better myself in the next year. 2016 has changed me a lot – I have been through good things, bad things, I lived amazing experiences, I have got closer to some people, I have seen people distance themselves from me. A rollercoaster of emotions. I cried, a lot. Still, a lot less than in previous years. I started to see my fine lines coming up on my face from how much I laugh. And I couldn’t be less bothered. It means I am happy. It means everything I do makes me happy, it means my friends fill my life with great memories, it means my family is proud, it means I am ultimately proud of myself. So now I turn the page, take the...
GIVEAWAY

GIVEAWAY

Hello beautiful, Have you enjoyed my New Year’s Eve outfit ideas? I hope you liked them and that they got you inspired for the big night that brings us into 2017. And because you should start a new year owning something new, I thought I’d give you a lil’ something to make your outfits picture perfect this year to come. Chokers – probably the most “in” accessory at the moment don’t seem to be going away to quick so I thought you could use one or two. So I am launching 2 giveaway competitions, one on Facebook and one on Instagram. To win a choker through Facebook you need to share this blog post on your timeline (make sure it’s a public post so I can see it) and like both the blog’s Facebook page (here) and Anamelia Fashion’s Facebook page (here). Through instagram, you need to comment on the giveaway picture, found here and follow both my Instagram profile and Anamelia Fashion’s profile, which is tagged in the picture. I really wanted to give you something that you can wear in different ways, and something Romanian, coming from an independent brand that I know created them with love and care. I cannot wait to wrap a little gift and send it your way, so hurry up and join the competition. Deadline is 6th January. Can’t wait to see who’ll wear some of these beautiful chokers in the new year. And as this is my last blog post before the new year, I wish you a Happy New Year and I hope you will be healthy, happy and driven...
Red for Good Luck

Red for Good Luck

There is this tradition in Romania that says that if you wear red while stepping into the new year, you will have a year filled with good luck. So I thought I’d keep that in mind while choosing the third option. We can all use a bit of good luck in 2017, right? And thinking “go hard or go home” I didn’t add a bit of red, I chose a red dress. Actually, I wore this dress at a New Year’s Eve party and I still find it very nice and easy to wear. It’s a light material, it looks good, you can move around in it and dance ’til dawn and – the most important bit – no one will see how much you eat! Smart, huh? This outfit made me think about dancing a lot, so I chose medium height heels, so that nothing can stop you from grooving all night long! The hairstyle is also an effortless one, that won’t make you worry if the hair is staying right or not – you just need to have fun! As the outfit is so easy going, I wanted the accessory to be the same. When I saw this Anamelia Fashion choker I pictured it with a day outfit, something casual, but I liked so much how it looked with this that I decided to stick to it! Are you thinking about dancing your way into the new year? This is the perfect look for that, don’t you think? Let me know! x Kisses, D. I was wearing: Dress – Karla Sandals – New Look Choker – Anamelia...
Brick & Lace

Brick & Lace

Hi lovelies,   How are you? Still enjoying the Christmas leftovers and the “I’m on holiday” excuse to procrastinate? Because I sure am! But, as I promised you, I am determined to help you dress up for NYE so here I am with my second outfit option. This time I chose to combine some pieces and fabrics that I usually don’t. However, giving that I am away and I have to work with what I considered I might find useful and put in my suitcase, I have spontaneously decided to try these 2 on together and see how they look. Surprisingly, I liked it. Moral of the story – try that top with the skirt you really love, and you might end up loving the result. So, suede, satin and lace came together, in a combination of close colours – brick like and made up a great outfit. Anamelia Fashion provided the final touch – this rather unique choker made with feathers and so the look became a bit more special. Like the special night we’re all looking forward to – New Year’s Eve! An outfit that doesn’t make it look like you struggled too much, but that still, you know what you’re doing. I’ll let you decide what heels to add to it as mine didn’t get into the pictures, any ideas? Any ideas about your NYE look? Did you like this one? One more tomorrow and then I’ll let you decide! Hugs, D. I was wearing: Skirt – River Island Top – H&M Choker – Anamelia Fashion Pictures by Catalina...
