Good morning, my darlings! I am a strong believer in the fact that everything happens for a reason. I also believe that things happen at the time they are meant to happen but also that you have to work your a** off to get to your goals and dreams. See how these two are not always aligned? Like do I wait for things to happen or do I go for it? It’s been on my mind lately as it’s something that has always confused me. However, I think I have recently reached my conclusion. No one will ever be able to tell me that if you work hard, you don’t succeed. In one way or another. Sooner or later. Just as planned or completely different. But you succeed. Listen to any successful person you admire and you will see the word ‘WORK’ will come up in their speeches, A LOT. Now about the other side where you wait for things to happen, I think we should see it more like we look forward to things happening rather than we wait around, because that ‘looking forward’ thing does not mean you stop working until that happens and literally just wait around. One of Oprah’s inspiring interviews came up on my feed the other day and she was saying that you have to be ready for when your opportunity comes along. And I completely believe in that! Wait but know your breakthrough is coming, so that you don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s and wonder why yours isn’t as successful, because if I learnt something, is that you are not...

Hello my dear, As you’ve probably noticed on my Instagram I have been checking in and out of airports and hotels lately so I thought I’d check in here as well and give you my latest updates as I’ve been absent from the blogosphere for a bit. As much as the blog is on my mind every single day, I had to move it further down my priorities list so I haven’t posted as often as I would have liked to. However, I have been shooting outfits, brainstorming content ideas and I have some concepts so good that I just know you’ll love them! But as you probably already know by now, I’m quite self critical and so my work has to reach a certain standard – mine! Which is probably the harshest of them all! So it’ll be a while until I implement all the changes, but when I do, they’ll look just how I want them. Until then, while I (try to) stay on top of my busy lifestyle, I thought I’d share with you this outfit that goes easily from day to night, allows you to run around doing errands and ticking things off your to-do list, all while looking well put together, and when the night comes, just take the blazer off and you’re ready to catch the happy hour! In all seriousness now, I’ve found that living in a busy city while being a busy girl really means that your outfits need to be very versatile, especially when working in the fashion industry – you never know what event you might end up to after...

Hello my darlings, It’s Christmas Eve and after I’ve finished decorating the house and cooking all the Christmas food, I’ve decided to share a little blog post to wish you a Merry Christmas and show you how a white Christmas looks, in case you aren’t having one where you live! Summer has always been my favourite season, but despite that, December has a very special place in my heart and over the years, it has slowly become my favourite time of the year. And can you blame me? It gives me so much joy because it brings together all my family, spoils me with all the traditional food I’m missing all year and everything around me looks sparkling and full of lights. Regardless if you’re celebrating Christmas or not, I’m sure you all love to see the cities coming to life and having all kind of events that bring people together for laughter and hot drinks, because at the end of the day, it’s a holiday season for everyone, we all travel home to see family and friends and end the year in a festive way! As I am typing, it doesn’t look like I will be getting the white Christmas I have been hoping for, but luckily, I got to see some snow a few days ago, because (if you grew up with snowy Decembers, you know this) it just doesn’t feel the same if I come home for Christmas and there is no snow around. In a minimalistic manner, I dressed in all black and a touch of colour. The accesories were a bit of faux...

Helloooo, Uhh I haven’t posted on Saturdays in such a long time! It feels so good to get to blog more often, I’ve been missing this! This weekend is what separates us from the last month of the year! Maaan, it has gone fast! I cannot believe that we’re about to write the last chapter of 2015… Even if I am a declared summer lover, I do love cozy winters, and my favourite winter month is December (surprised?). I see it as a month of celebrations and happiness and well spent time with family and friends! It’s a month filled of Christmas meals and parties that start coming up from the beginning of December. So, apart from the obvious good part, THE FOOD, there is another good thing about having so many meals and parties to attend – buying outfits for them! As a true fashionista, I get almost as excited for this, as I get for the actual meals (I mean, seriously, have you read the menus?). So I have started looking for pretty dresses to wear to all these occasions! As you know, I love wandering around and discovering new shops. I found this cute little one a good few weeks ago and I will probably return for more inspiration before Christmas! I bought this dress which is very light, but has the lace detail, that makes it a bit more unique, while having the skater shape that allows you to dance all night with no worries at all! So, as you have probably figured, today’s post is an outfit idea for one of the Christmas parties...

Hi darlings, How has your week been so far? I really, really wanted to post this yesterday, but my internet connection did not feel the same and refused to let me update the pictures, which is why I had to wait until today. On another note… I have almost been kicked down by a cold, so please take care of yourselves out there! When I actually decided that it’s getting worse and worse and it’s time to slow down and take care of myself was the moment when I started feeling better. Coincidence? I think not. And by slowing down I finally got some “me” time. It’s been my first week with no afternoon meetings and I actually had enough time to read and watch some series and have early nights. All in one week, I’m loving this! However, somehow I always find a little something “that needs to be taken care of”. It has been clear, for a while now, that I am a workaholic, even I accepted it! But as I keep building this stairway to my goals, brick by brick, I realize that I enjoy every bit of this journey. And that is because I am driven. I am driven to make it. I am driven by my passions. I shared a quote the other day saying “Without passion, life is nothing” and it could not be more true! I could be dead tired after 8 h of work and 2 meetings, if I was productive and achieved my set goals for the days, you can bet I will fall asleep happy that the day went...
