If there’s one question I kept getting in the past few months, it has always been ‘How’s the London life?’ and it seemed like more and more people, both from the UK and from abroad, kept asking me the same question with either a very wishful smile of hope that they’ll soon live in London as well or with a scared look for London’s renowned rush. And since the topic kept coming up, I thought I’d share an article with my thoughts on that. I have actually been thinking about it for a while now, trying to ask myself this question over and over again – on the good days and on the bad days so that when I finally sit down to write the article I have an answer that embodies it all. I have always loved London, and you’d think ‘duuh, who doesn’t?’ but not everyone does, London is that one of a kind city, that you either love or hate, there’s rarely any in between. However, before living in London, I used to fall for it every single time I visited it, and I was always drawn in by its unique vibe. So living in London seemed a great idea, even if some deemed it scary or overwhelming. I knew, though, it’s something that I feel in my soul I’ll always want to experiment, so doing what I love – fashion – in the city that has drawn me in over and over again seemed the ideal combo! And it is – oh, dear, there’s not a single day where something new doesn’t happen, a new...

I started by telling you about the beach, then I shared with you my favourite place in Barcelona, the Gothic Quarter (El Gòtic), and so I had to conclude by showing you pictures of the whole city. I have really given it thoughts, and I truly believe it is a city where I could live. At least for a while. I could picture myself working then enjoying a walk on the beach at sunset. So, who knows, maybe that’s my next stop! This is a thing I truly enjoy about traveling! Each city gives you a different vibe. In some, I could picture myself living, like Barcelona, in some I could never see myself living, like Paris, but I’d never say no to a getaway there either. While some cities just stay with you forever, like my hometown, Cluj, and I would always go back to it again and again, only to discover that both me and the city have changed, but there will always be a bond to tie us together. Back to Barcelona, another thing that I love about it is that I can speak Spanish, and I love that! I can just walk up to someone and start talking! Something that clearly, I have been unable to do in Belgium! Yes, everyone speaks English eventually, but you just don’t feel like you blend in. When the native language is not one that I can speak I feel that I am forever a tourist, no matter for how long I am living in that place. And that kind of stays between me and that city and avoids creating...

When I set for this Erasmus adventure, one of my goals was to travel! As much as I can, as far as I can! I did not make it that far, but I do think I had my fair share of travel! Apart from that, with my friends being on Erasmus too – one in Paris and one in Barcelona, my goal was to see them both and so, visit these pretty cities that they both went too. If you are following me on Facebook on Instagram, you would know that I got away for almost a week in Barcelona, and had a reunion with my friends. I came back to Belgium on Tuesday, and on Wednesday, one of them, my bestie, joined me and so we enjoyed some more time together! Ever since I came from Barcelona I had a reboost of energy, and now I feel it even more! Which is weird, because if there is something that I did not have these past weeks, it’s sleep! But then I realized, energy does not come only from sleep, energy comes from people too, and it is so important to be surrounded by people that would give you that good energy and that positive vibe! I keep noticing that more and more, and so I try to channel my energy to people that I know will give it back to me and put a smile on my tired-I-need-sleep face! So I decided to use my Inspirational Monday post to tell you this. To tell you that I wish I would post more, sometimes I wish I would post...
