Windy

Windy

Hello beautiful, How have you been? I’ve been dying to break the silence around here for a few days now, but never got around to actually sit down and write a new blog post. Seriously, I don’t even know how my days fly by so fast! I’ve been so caught in this rush recently that I barely had time to shoot new outfits! And then December came, and as you might have seen on Instagram or on Facebook, Christmas meals and social gatherings started so I was a bit busy having a social life! I am so excited for the holidays and for some quiet, peaceful moments at home! However, it won’t be complete relaxation, I have some nice things already scheduled for the blog, cannot wait to share them with you! Until then though, all there is left to do is to run around pretty little Worcester doing my daily errands! Which I don’t complain about, apart from the fact that it’s been super windy. As you may notice from the pictures below, which we struggled to shoot without disappearing into the sky like Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz and ending up in a totally different place (If so, please let it be a hot place. With a beach. And can I land there already tanned? Too far maybe.) So through these windy times, layering is the key for a proper outfit. Here you can check out mine, and my struggle to not lose my hat or end up gone with the wind. Also, I tried to match the colours with the weather, so I went for the...

Print on Print

Hello loves, One of the things I love most about Worcester is how pretty it gets when fall takes over the city. Looking as traditional as it looks, its buildings make a beautiful contrast with the falling leaves, which ultimately creates a beautiful view to admire every day! So, while thinking about these contrasts and blends of colours, I decided to combine some prints to create this look. So many people are afraid to mix prints because, let’s be honest – some can really end up being too much – but, the truth is, I believe that, if you follow a few simple rules, your outfit might turn from a disaster-to-be to an actual success! Without any further adieu, my tips are – keep them quite similar and make them complement each other. Using this outfit as an example – the small print from the skirt is continued by bigger squares on the jacket that then turn into a pattern on the scarf. Also, if the colours also complement each other, the outfit will be more visually attractive. Here, my skirt is burgundy, while my scarf also has burgundy combined with beige and the blazer has a combination of beige and brown shades. You see where I’m going with this? They are all intertwined. Basically, my advice is go for it, but still be cautious and try not to mix too many things at once, as it might ruin the outcome you’re looking for! I usually don’t mix prints, as I prefer to have 1 or 2 colours and then one printed item that stands out, but it’s always...

Rushed

Hi guys, Finally, a new post is up!! Trust me, I have been so excited to post this, that I just could not wait any longer! You probably figured that out since my previews already started a few days ago! Sorryyyy, couldn’t help it! Mostly because I really, really love this look and the whole concept of the photoshoot! Credits go to this new photographer that left his mark around here a while ago, but now he’s back with even more creativity, which is exactly what I need for my posts! I will surely let you know more about his work soon! The outfit is formed fully of New Look pieces, apart from my JustFab bag, which you know already. Those boots are to die foooor!! I saw them earlier this month and when I tried them on, I knew they were meant to be mine! As a tall person and a person that loves over-the-knee boots is really hard to find some that actually are over the knee. So when you find a cool pair like these, you never let go! And then the sweater – come on, is it cool or what? I love turtle necks and I decided that I need more of them, but the fact that is also asymmetric really makes it stand out! So as you can imagine, it was not hard for me to picture these two together as a perfect outfit! The earrings also helped, made the outfit look like “something more”, ordinary definitely is not the word for it! I love when designs go a bit further than the usual,...
Cape for Fall

Cape for Fall

Hi loves, Are you as excited for Friday as I am? Or is it just because of all the coffees I’ve had? Let’s leave that unanswered… So as we’re getting more into the fall season, I am back to my ultimate fall crush – capes! But as I don’t see fall as depressing or sad, I thought I’d spice it up with a bit of colour! Burgundy is known for being a good colour for fall and a perfect match with beige, but that would just be usual. To make the outfit stand out a bit, as it’s a really simple one – really, I had to add a bit of electric purple and bring back my favourite bargain ever – the cool sunglasses. If you love them as much as I do, you can see other outfits here & here. And with that, I wanted to prove once again that one accessory can change a boring – or let’s call it plain – outfit in a cool one. So on those days when you feel like inspiration is failing you, always think about the accessories that you have, they can truly save the day! Also, another tip is to think how else you can wear your items, so that they don’t keep looking the same. For example, I decided to not tie this cape, which I usually do, so the outfit had a different end look! As always, the best advice is to be creative and be bold to wear what you want, how you want! On another note, I am getting better (whooo) and busier (whooo) but...
Organised

Organised

Hi darlings, Today I decided to play with pretty pale colours, and make a combination of white, beige and cappucinno! Maybe because coffee is what keeps me going, or because these colours calm me down and keep me from getting stressed and freak out. As the weeks go by, I am starting to feel how all the commitments that I took on for this year are starting to take more and more of my time. And there is a huge tendency to panic and just declare that it is just too much…But that just isn’t me, is it? So instead, I am trying to become more and more organized because I decided that my time management is essential for me to complete all my duties and still have a tiny bit of energy at the end of the day! Even more, I need to have all my things organized, so I decided that it’s time to get some new bags that would adjust to my goals! After a lot of research, I turned to www.justfab.co.uk for my picks and I chose a couple of bags that fit my style! I bought from them before so I knew they were reliable and good quality! And so I found this beauty! Which is one of the reasons why I chose beige as an outfit colour – because I wanted the bag to be the main attraction point – and yes, it succeeded! Oh, and you all know how much I adore the burgundy colour! So pretty, practical and with enough space for all my day-to-day belongings, it’s perfect! It’s the ideal...
