Hey there, beautiful reader! December snuck up on me quicker than I got to say ‘Christmas is coming’ and now I find myself completely unprepared for what I consider one of my favourite times of the year (the other one’s summer time because I’m a summer child and I live for the July sun!). Also, I usually find this time of the year very exciting but this year is ending with me still being on a hunt for a job and a purpose to follow my masters coming to an end which turned into a few months of uncertainty. Now, if there is something that I don’t like, that is uncertainty. Spontaneity, yes, all for it, uncertainty, not so much. Because uncertainty means everything is out of my control, which sometimes brings great things into my life out of the blue, and I am very grateful for that, but sometimes, it just makes me question every single thing. However, this also means that my tolerance to uncertainty has been greatly tested these months so maybe it was just a lesson I had to learn and it will prove of great help in the future, we shall see. I’ve been spending this time focusing on myself while on this search which people might call check mate given how many times I’ve put myself last while being very busy. However, is it check, mate? Because as much as I’ve enjoyed having time for myself and my friends, I miss being busy, having a purpose, making a change. I’m the type of person who is satisfied at the end of the day...

Hey you, How’s 2018 so far? Did you get back into your rhytm after holidays, lots of food, sleep, parties and family time? Don’t worry, it takes a bit, take your time, you’ll get there. That’s what I’m telling myself as well, I had a slow start to the year, but it allowed me to really think things through and figure out what I want to focus on this year. It also allowed me to spend more time with my family, my close friends who recharged me and gave me plenty of energy to last me a while, hopefully until I see them again. I did less work that I had set myself to do because I thought spending time with them and all this recharging is more beneficial and it will also allow me, when I get back to things, to start again strong and go full speed ahead! So now that slow motion start is going on fast forward and I’m ready to get back to business and go make 2018 my year. I’m currently at the airport, ready to board, and I must say, this is my favourite place to write articles. I’m in ‘no man’s land’ with a destination ahead and hopes and dreams that need some work done for them to come true. Also, this is the airport where I’ve had the saddest departures and happiest arrivals, so it kinda became my place where I think about my life, make plans, set goals. Hope you’re ready to work your way through this year and make it your best yet! Don’t forget to also enjoy...

Hello from home, I have finally got a bit of time to sit down and write some thoughts. Being home is always great, and I often don’t realise how fast time flies – I can’t believe I have been home for a week now. Being home for a limited time, especially for the holidays, always adds a pressure, like you want to do/see/eat everything that you have missed while being away, while also spending 100% time with family, friends and let’s not forget you brought yourself a list of to-dos from school. work etc. And all of a sudden what was set to be a holiday, is a scheduled time frame, but oh wait – you are actually here to relax. A paradox, right? When you have been doing this for a few years, like me, you become a pro at handling these things, and by that I mean prioritise, because let’s be honest, you can’t possibly do them all if you have the least amount of sleep in mind as well. So slowly, time spent at home or with my family has become the most important thing, even if that means missing out on social gatherings, events etc. I guess it’s the best way to feel that you are actually at home. So I’ve been slowing it down, spent time baking for Christmas instead of wandering around the city and I became more realistic with the amount of work I’ll get done before heading back. Also, I have been dressing much more casual, wanting to feel comfortable and cozy, and even if there hasn’t been any snow here,...

Hello beautiful, Yep, still in the library and yep, still revising. Buuut, this is my last day this semester, so I am just taking a little break to talk to you and then I’m back at revising for my exam! Just like I did when I took these pictures. I was still at home, hence the snow, and I was writing an assignment, and during the break I thought I’d snap a few outfit pictures. This outfit probably sums up all my outfits this week, it is like the perfect outfit to study, really. Comfy, still lively, you don’t put a lot of effort into it, but it is stylish. There you go, feel free to rush to get into the library – you’ll still have a nice look! Also, I had a crush on this sweater ever since it came out, and I saw it being sold out online, in UK stores and then I finally found it in Romania, which made it hard to let go. I attempted to live in it, despite of my strong belief of not wearing the same thing twice days in a row. It was hard. Very hard. So, there you go, my studying outfit, minimal make up, the usual smile and the confidence that we’ll be fine through it all (this had a tendency of fading throughout last week, but I managed to get it back!). Now, I will go back to studying, cross my fingers for tomorrow’s exam – last one from my undergraduate degree – bittersweet! Good luck with everything, fellow students, we got this! I will be back...

Hello loves, One of the things I love most about Worcester is how pretty it gets when fall takes over the city. Looking as traditional as it looks, its buildings make a beautiful contrast with the falling leaves, which ultimately creates a beautiful view to admire every day! So, while thinking about these contrasts and blends of colours, I decided to combine some prints to create this look. So many people are afraid to mix prints because, let’s be honest – some can really end up being too much – but, the truth is, I believe that, if you follow a few simple rules, your outfit might turn from a disaster-to-be to an actual success! Without any further adieu, my tips are – keep them quite similar and make them complement each other. Using this outfit as an example – the small print from the skirt is continued by bigger squares on the jacket that then turn into a pattern on the scarf. Also, if the colours also complement each other, the outfit will be more visually attractive. Here, my skirt is burgundy, while my scarf also has burgundy combined with beige and the blazer has a combination of beige and brown shades. You see where I’m going with this? They are all intertwined. Basically, my advice is go for it, but still be cautious and try not to mix too many things at once, as it might ruin the outcome you’re looking for! I usually don’t mix prints, as I prefer to have 1 or 2 colours and then one printed item that stands out, but it’s always...
