Simple As That

Simple As That

Hello hello, How is it already winter and how are we only 6 weeks away from Christmas? It’s beyond me. And I know you’ve heard this a gazillion times and it’s a world-known cliché, but time flies, man! Like seriously, this year is almost over? Unbelievable! The amount of things that changed this year is huge, but let’s not get to the reflective post on the year just yet, it’s still November, right? Talking about time flying, my last post was on London Fashion Week and I was away with business. Ever since, I travelled a bit more around, but with less work in mind. For starters, I returned to my homie Worcester for a couple of days to throw the mortarboard and graduate. It was such a perfect day, I felt very proud and grateful to be surrounded by my family and friends for my celebrations. Right after (and I mean right after – I didn’t bother to include sleep in my schedule) I went to Paris for a study trip at the Institut Français de la Mode to get some insight on the luxury fashion market, eat from as many boulangeries as possible, cheer glasses of French wines and indulge myself with pretty macarons. And as I usually get inspired from the places I travel, Paris is no exception, it has that ‘je ne sais quoi’ that makes all French people look effortlessly chic – no overflow of accessories, no layering, no overdoing it. I love that. I feel like my style is constantly changing and I’m very keen on trying out different pieces and see what works...
Brick & Lace

Brick & Lace

Hi lovelies,   How are you? Still enjoying the Christmas leftovers and the “I’m on holiday” excuse to procrastinate? Because I sure am! But, as I promised you, I am determined to help you dress up for NYE so here I am with my second outfit option. This time I chose to combine some pieces and fabrics that I usually don’t. However, giving that I am away and I have to work with what I considered I might find useful and put in my suitcase, I have spontaneously decided to try these 2 on together and see how they look. Surprisingly, I liked it. Moral of the story – try that top with the skirt you really love, and you might end up loving the result. So, suede, satin and lace came together, in a combination of close colours – brick like and made up a great outfit. Anamelia Fashion provided the final touch – this rather unique choker made with feathers and so the look became a bit more special. Like the special night we’re all looking forward to – New Year’s Eve! An outfit that doesn’t make it look like you struggled too much, but that still, you know what you’re doing. I’ll let you decide what heels to add to it as mine didn’t get into the pictures, any ideas? Any ideas about your NYE look? Did you like this one? One more tomorrow and then I’ll let you decide! Hugs, D. I was wearing: Skirt – River Island Top – H&M Choker – Anamelia Fashion Pictures by Catalina...
Green Love

Green Love

I thought so much what to write to accompany these pictures, because I don’t want them to pass unnoticed, as this is one of my favourites outfits shot for Destray! But I got to the conclusion that the best way to share it with you is to tell you the story of the day, so here we go… This was actually the reason why I had my City-Break going back home, I went to a wedding! I simply love weddings! Love is in the air, everything is set up pretty and organized to the smallest detail, everyone dresses up in their most beautiful gowns/suits and then it’s all about having a good time! And at this wedding, trust me, that’s really what it was all about: having a good time! And I really had! You know that feeling when you are away from home and you just miss a party from back home? It’s different in each and every country, so you know that you won’t find the same atmosphere everywhere! So this wedding party had everything I’ve been missing: Romanian music, traditional music, oldies (goldies), all you could ever want from a wedding and so, of course, I danced until the very end of it! All in all, the wedding was amazing and totally worth to go back home for! Oh, and they had a Candy Bar, you know me, a foodie, so it just made me love the wedding more! The outfit was one I really enjoyed wearing. You know those kind of dresses that seem simple, but that’s what makes them beautiful? This is one of...
