Back to Business

Back to Business

Hey you, How’s 2018 so far? Did you get back into your rhytm after holidays, lots of food, sleep, parties and family time? Don’t worry, it takes a bit, take your time, you’ll get there. That’s what I’m telling myself as well, I had a slow start to the year, but it allowed me to really think things through and figure out what I want to focus on this year. It also allowed me to spend more time with my family, my close friends who recharged me and gave me plenty of energy to last me a while, hopefully until I see them again. I did less work that I had set myself to do because I thought spending time with them and all this recharging is more beneficial and it will also allow me, when I get back to things, to start again strong and go full speed ahead! So now that slow motion start is going on fast forward and I’m ready to get back to business and go make 2018 my year. I’m currently at the airport, ready to board, and I must say, this is my favourite place to write articles. I’m in ‘no man’s land’ with a destination ahead and hopes and dreams that need some work done for them to come true. Also, this is the airport where I’ve had the saddest departures and happiest arrivals, so it kinda became my place where I think about my life, make plans, set goals. Hope you’re ready to work your way through this year and make it your best yet! Don’t forget to also enjoy...
Cozy

Cozy

Hello there gorgeous, How has your week been so far? Have you started the weekend in style? Weekends have always been the week’s treats, we all know that, but ever since I started working full time, I began to appreciate them even more! And not because Saturday and Sunday are the days when I am not working, because most of the time, that is not the case, but because they are the days when I can sleep in and be cozy a little longer. I doubt this comes as a surprise, but in case you had no idea, I am not exactly a morning person. Not even, I am not a morning person at all. However, I used to be! I used to have no problems waking up every single day for school, but after university and chaotic schedules, that ability went away, it completely vanished! Unfortunately, now I am a person with multiple alarms in the morning that struggles to get out of bed. Which might also affect my capability of being on time, but that’s to be talked about in another post… I know me not being a morning person counteracts with being a workaholic and with hustling hard, but I think we all work differently. I work very well in the afternoon and I am most creative in the evening, hence my inability to get out of bed in the mornings… Either way, Saturdays translate to cozy days and start with a late morning in. So guess how today started? And if they include getting out of the house, what better way to continue the coziness...
Fall

Fall

Hello darlings, How have you been? As I told you last week, I am not posting that often these days, but truth is, I am always coming back here, regardless if it’s after 2 days or one week of absence. Ever since I started the blog, I promised myself that my posts will be honest and that I will write because I enjoy writing. So, now, with my busy diary, keeping a posting schedule would mean me writing meaningless posts, just so that I keep posting. And I never wanted it like that. I looove writing my thoughts here and I would also love to do it more often, but I’d rather come back here after some days when I lived new experiences and I worked hard towards this and million other small dreams to become bigger, so that when I get the chance, I can share everything with you! So now I can. I am living hectically, I’ll admit. But I am trying my best to keep a balance. A balance between work and sleep (which is the hardest thing), a balanced lifestyle, I have been trying to stay as healthy as possible (while indulging myself with some chocolate – duuuh, life is made to be enjoyed), and I have tried as much as possible to still squeeze in some social life (an actual one, outside Social Media). And I will be fair with you, it has not been easy. I am a passionate person, so everything that I get involved in, I do it with passion, so I either give in my all, or I just don’t...
Sweet Goodbye

Sweet Goodbye

Hi my dears, First and foremost, I have had a great feedback for yesterday’s post about inner beauty, thank you! If you haven’t read it already or want to leave me your opinion on it, please do! The post is here. On another note, today is the first day of autumn. Whaaaat? Where did my summer go? Time flies, really! But hey, no complaining, I started my summer on Erasmus, in Belgium, then spent some amazing weeks in Romania, at home, went to the beach for a week and then finished it off in England. It was quite a good summer, if I am to be fair here. So while setting the start to fall, I am saying goodbye to summer, but it’s a sweet goodbye if I remember my days at the beach, surrounded by family and a beautiful sunset, absolutely perfect. And yes, I miss that. But I believe in living in the moment and cherishing the past through memories while believing in the future through wishes! Of course, saying goodbye is not easy, but giving the fact that I have been in England for a couple of weeks now, I got used to the British weather and to people saying “what summer?” whenever the summer talks were on. So this is just to make it official, it’s September now, and summer is gone. But hey, see it this way – you will finally have the chance to try all those fall trends that you had your eyes on! Oh, and layering, yes, the layering game will be strong. Can’t wait to get inspired by all the...
Red Riding Hood

Red Riding Hood

Hey loves, I know I promoted the Black and White look yesterday, and I still love it, and I am still looking for inspiration, and yes, you can still help! Find out how and what I am on about right here. But, let’s be honest, with all these Monochrome Mornings (you’ll get it if you read yesterday’s post, promise), I need a pop of colour though, don’t I? I don’t want to get all sad and moody, I want to be productive and creative, so best way to do that is by balancing colour and non-colour! So today we’re all happy and summery in this pretty vintage dress! Yes, my “backup storage of cool things” (it basically means I have it from my mum, but head over here if you want to catch up on it) gave me yet another pretty dress to show you all! It’s impressive how much I love vintage style while I also love new trends and modern pieces. That’s how much our mood affects what we are wearing, so you wear what you feel, same with colours, it’s impressive, isn’t it? So anyway, not so long ago, I hope, when I was a teenager, I would never go for a midi dress, I always thought it wouldn’t look good on me, and oh, boy, I was wrong! I love it! It’s a really nice length, really feminine, add some heels to it and it would be even classier! However, if, as me, you are up for a walk, just go with flats, and it will give you the perfect look! Even though I can...
