Checking In

Hello my dear, As you’ve probably noticed on my Instagram I have been checking in and out of airports and hotels lately so I thought I’d check in here as well and give you my latest updates as I’ve been absent from the blogosphere for a bit. As much as the blog is on my mind every single day, I had to move it further down my priorities list so I haven’t posted as often as I would have liked to. However, I have been shooting outfits, brainstorming content ideas and I have some concepts so good that I just know you’ll love them! But as you probably already know by now, I’m quite self critical and so my work has to reach a certain standard – mine! Which is probably the harshest of them all! So it’ll be a while until I implement all the changes, but when I do, they’ll look just how I want them. Until then, while I (try to) stay on top of my busy lifestyle, I thought I’d share with you this outfit that goes easily from day to night, allows you to run around doing errands and ticking things off your to-do list, all while looking well put together, and when the night comes, just take the blazer off and you’re ready to catch the happy hour! In all seriousness now, I’ve found that living in a busy city while being a busy girl really means that your outfits need to be very versatile, especially when working in the fashion industry – you never know what event you might end up to after...

City Girl

Friyaaaaay!! Well, it’s been a long week. A very long week. It’s been rushed and it’s been full of to do’s so I am looking forward to a little break aka the weekend. You know how they say that you should get away from the city for a break? Well I have always had my own ways of doing things, so what do I do for a break? I escape to a bigger city. I am looking forward to a weekend of city rush, just because it would not be me rushing, I would be nicely walking around, enjoying a bit of early Christmas feeling at the Christmas markets and hopefully get to see a bit more of this big city – Bristol, as I have only seen snippets so far. I’ve shot this outfit last time I was in Bristol at Cabot Circus. It’s the kind of outfit one would wear at the weekend – laid back with the final touch being a big, cozy coat. That I got as a bargain at a Romanian seasonal fair, by the way – scooore! However, there is one element I think about when I dress in a sweatshirt or hoodie – and lately I do it quite a lot, because it’s cozy and warm and you know – winter is coming. That is make up or accesories, or in this case both, as it was a city outfit. I feel like I want to make it stand out a bit, otherwise it won’t be much different than the outfit I wear while I’m at home Netflixing. So, of course, a...

Hey lovelies, As you probably know, New York Fashion Week it’s been happening for a few days already and it is buzzing with great collections! Make sure to catch up with them so that you can see all the trends that are coming up! Let me know what your favourites are! But as much as I love the collections, what I also enjoy during Fashion weeks is how cool and original people dress. It really is pure inspiration that you can just see by walking around! Remember the shots I took during Paris Fashion Week this spring? Here! Exactly like that, you walk around these people, and let their creativity inspire you! Since New York is always the starter of the Fashion Month, people would go out of their confort zones to make a statement and get noticed (trust me, there are loaaaads of people), and also is the only one that is not in Europe, so people step up their game big time! Here are the ones that I have noticed and liked, even though I’m sure I haven’t seen even half of it, but I tried to stay as updated as possible (I am not there after all), and see all the cool outfits that photographed considered interesting. With that being said, here are a few pieces that I really liked and that I believe make a great inspiration. Do you agree? Have you seen cooler ones? Shout out in the comments! x Much love, D.
