Well, it really is! This is what I have witnessed every day when coming back from the university. It is bad. I haven’t had any time to walk around, get lost around the city or to sit around in a cute cafe. Don’t even mention going out, apparently my student life is not based on that, at least not yet..
I am thinking it may be karma. My friends from back home in Romania are always telling me that I am so lucky to have so little class time in England. Well let me tell you this, I really am and they are right.
You probably don’t understand what I am talking about here, so let me explain myself, and at the same time, use this as an excuse of not being too coherent. So, as I was telling you, I started classes, and both this week and next week are project weeks which in translation means that you work from 9 to 5, full time, but you are not paid.
Ok, yes, I am being dramatic, but well, I just want some free time, is that too much to ask frm my Erasmus experience? I don’t think so. But yeah, I know it’s just for 2 weeks and then it will get better (still haven’t been brave enough to check my timetable though).
But hey, you learn something from everything, right? So let it be, I’ll go through it, hopefully with a good grade and then I’ll get to make my travel plans and go out and eat more chocolate and explore new places and enjoy this semester as I should.
Oh and actually what got me thinking of this title is that it went from shiny sunshines to almost complete darkness in a couple of seconds when we had these pictures. But then I just decided to pour it all out and describe the way I actually get to see every sunset when I get into the house. How dramatic a girl can get, huh? Well, it’s a hard week.
This procrastination is getting to a dangerous level right now and I actually have a test tomorrow (yes, already) so I’d better get started with some revision for it, so I’ll let you look through these pictures. It was a really coloured outfit that I loved wearing. That vintage necklace is amazing, I can’t wait to wear it again, it changes the whole look, making it more stylish and classy.
I hope you’re having a great week and that you’re still smiling through it, even if it’s not the best week ever; weekend is right around the corner!
Stay positive, D.
