I have already revealed to you my love for travel and most recently, my love for Amsterdam. Which is where I shot this pictures too.
And then I wonder, why do we enjoy traveling so much? Because we already know that leaving out of a suitcase is not the dream, I have been doing that for quite a long time now and I can’t say it’s my favourite part of moving around. However, I keep moving around.
I am a person that gets bored easily, I have discovered this past year, so I thought it may be the reason, but it’s not. Don’t get me wrong, I will absolutely love the moment when I will settle down and have my own place and my suitcases won’t be so mandatory, it’s just that I still don’t know when or where. But that’s because I chose it this way, you’d say. And it is true, I know. But I still love it.
It’s not easy, but the excitement that I get everytime I am packing to go somewhere makes me look like a little kid that cannot wait to go on vacation. Which probably is exactly what I am like.
But it’s not that, it’s the fact that I am curious, that I am convinced that you never stop learning, so I want to see and learn as much as possible, and I don’t think that’s possible by staying in the same place. You have to see more cultures, more people, especially, more different people, that will show you more point of views. And so, you learn.
Ever since I have started moving around, I realised that I keep learning and educating myself, towards others, but in a self-reflecting way too. So, I guess here lies my answer: I will settle down somewhere when I would consider I have got to know myself enough so that I can live by feeding my curiousity only during vacations and city break getaways, because oh yes, I will want those in my “settled” life.
On that note, I am sharing with you today pictures with one of the outfits I wore in Amsterdam and I am glad to let you know that my next adventure starts in a few hours and the next stop is Paris!
Seeing one of your best friends that you’ve missed for a while and enjoying a bit of Paris Fashion Week sounds really good to me, so as you can imagine, I will enjoy the moment and slow down with the posts while I am there, but no worries, I will catch up next week when I will share with you all the amazing things I have seen!
