I heard this saying that if you were born in the summer, you’re always craving sun and warm days. Well, I don’t know if it’s true or not, but it’s definitely the case for me, so that summer I was born must have been really hot, because I want warmth and sun all the time. No, literally all the time.
And then I look at the countries I choose to live in, like United Kingdom and now Belgium, and do not reflect my love for sunny days at all! I think might reconsider this and make sure the next one is a sunny one! But then again, no complaints made, I do like these countries, a lot about them actually – except the weather!
Anyway, I shall stop here or I will start feeling like an old lady who ran out of subjects so she’s discussing weather and let me tell you that it is not the case! When you’re talking about Paris you can’t run out of subjects!
And yes, I am still talking about Paris! I am sorry, but I can’t help it! I still think it’s one of the prettiest cities in the world to have a city break in and my mind will probably not change soon!
However, I am all about cherishing the moments, turning them into memories, but not living in the past, so I am not sad or anything, and I still enjoy the moment here, with all these lovely people around and all the good laughs we’re having, so I’m cool. The only thing that sometimes overwhelms me (and therefore makes me postpone posting articles, sorryyyy) is the fact that we have so much work to do for school. No one mentions that when talking about Erasmus! I mean, it is indeed all good fun and new people, but school work does take an incredible amount of time, and it’s compulsory for passing, so sometimes gets in the way of fun…unfortunately.
Anyway, weekend mood is on, so I will try to do a little bit of both, so that I enjoy these days while still keeping up with work!
I truly hope you’re having a more relaxing weekend than me, but if that’s not the case, here are some pictures with some sun from more relaxing, chill days in Paris! Let’s make the best of the rest of the week and don’t forget to keep wearing that smile, it suits you so well!
Much love, D.
