Every single time that we have to go somewhere – and I mean everywhere – we have that questions in out head “What do I wear?” and so it takes ages to decide…

Unless you have something new that you want to wear or you have a perfect combination in your head (and fingers crossed it looks as good on you as it looked in your head) or you just borrowed something from your best friend who helped you out in these hard times of indecision, you have this timeless dilemma.

And so, you spend a considerable amount of time making a mesa out of your closet, sometimes your room too, then you are not in the mood to leave anymore, then nothing looks good, then you realize that you have to clean that mess and then you come to the ultimate conclusion that you have nothing to wear.

And for the guys that have been sharing the above picture and always wondered that is how we, girls, actually get in that state of nothing to wear.

But, believe it or not, it gets worse! You may have to decide what to wear on a Monday morning, when your mood is rarely a good one anyways and you don’t really want to leave the house, but you kind of have to and so it goes…

And because I recently experienced having personality crisises because I have nothing to wear, because I keep moving around and so I end up not having enough clothes with me, I decided that, for me at least, it comes from having the right mindset and being in the mood and so I put up this little scheme to help us out:

The five questions to ask yourself when you decide:

Trousers or dress?

Cardigan or blazer?

Scarf or jewelerry…or both?

Heels or flats?

Bag or purse?

Which one are you in the mood for?And don’t tell me you don’t know because you’re always either going for a dress or for trousers, either feeling like rocking some heels or keeping it casual with some flats! And so at least you narrow it down to a quarter of your closet instead of messing it all up! Oh, and another little tip: just relax and think about the day ahead:

Is it windy, do I want a skirt?

Am I going to walk around all day long? Can I handle the heels all day long?

Do I need a jacket?

Do I have to carry a lot of stuff? And so, I need a big bag?

These questions might be useful so that you don’t put up the perfect outfit that doesn’t really match your day and you’ll have to change everything and again, you’re not in the mood for the day again…

So, put on some music, start your day lightly and in a positive mood and try these questions to see if you get to the perfect outfit faster and in a better mood! Let me know if that worked for you and feel free to share your tips with me too!

Have an amazing week, D.
