Let’s stop lying to ourselves. Fashionista or not, at least since the 1st of June hit the calendars we have started thinking about what we are going to do this summer. And somehow, it is all related to our fashion choices, think about it: where am I going?
To the beach? I need a swimming suit.
Am I working this summer? I need summer office outfits.
Going to a festival? You got the point.
So, as last Monday we decided what is mandatory for the summer, this Monday we indulge ourselves with a bit of dreaming towards what do we want in our wardrobe this summer…Naturally, while thinking about this, I made a never ending wish list, which I tried (really tried) to narrow it down to 5 things I really want this summer, so here we go:
1. Long vest
I have wanted one for a while now – basically you can wear it with everything from shorts, jeans to dresses and skirts, it would get you out of every don’t-know-what-to-wear-it-with kind of day, and you’ll look great too!
2. Shirt dress
As you know, I love shirts, and they are one of my to-go things, when it comes up to daily outfits, so I had to turn this into something more summerish, and I found the perfect choice – a shirt that I can wear as a dress!
3. Comfortable sandals with a thick heel
So in the summer I want to be comfortable, but I also want to wear heels, and not only on special occasions, but on a daily basis, for a walk, etc. Which is why I set my eyes on a stilish pair, but which also has a comfy heel, 2-in-1, count me in!
4. Big summer hat
Yeees, hats! I love hats, and summer is the perfect moment to choose to wear a hat as big as you want. At the end of the day, you “need” one, right?
5. An all-white summer suit
An office outfit always gives a classy look, but it’s summer, and so a summer suit, with shorts and a nice blazer would fit better for a coffee date, a dinner with friends, or a nice event. And white has summer written all over with, so that’s what I’m going with!
Bonus one: A summer dress!
Yes, I said 5. And I really tried the narrowing down thing, but come on, a summer dress is a summer dress, and you will always want a new one, every single summer (don’t even try denying this). And I love this off-shoulders one, so it became the wished one for this summer!
