Hello there,

I hope your weekend is going well and that you did at least one thing that made you relax and take your mind off things for a bit. After all, isn’t that what weekend is all about?

About today’s post, I’ll be completely honest with you, I got the final edit of the pictures yesterday and I knew I wanted to post them today, but had no idea what to write about. I love the look, but it’s a casual one, it’s a look anyone can pull off and that doesn’t necessarily need an article to tell you the substance behind it. I still will, but you know, it’s a casual day outfit. What makes it dear to me is this bomber jacket as I wanted one for a while, but I wanted it to be a bit special, so this one has cute embroideries at the front aaand it’s pink. Yep, guilty.

And the most special thing about this is that the choker I’m wearing is part of a yin-yang set with the second one being held by my bestie, so that we can be there for each other even when we are not physically together.

So yes, a bit of substance behind it, I will give you that.

But actually, while thinking what to write about while looking at these pictures I realised that it’s the “not knowing” element that makes everything better. I did not know where I am going when we shot these pictures. My friend and photographer took me to this little village and told me how cute it is. And it was! A great day, but not a planned one at all.

And the same applies to my life right now. I am a final year student involved in many, many projects that make me smile and fuel my creativity. Do I know where I will be in a year time? Not a clue. But this is a journey and I’d rather enjoy it and most importantly, learn from it. I believe that’s way more important than the final destination.

And as I know most of you reading this are either my age or similar or not knowing where you are going, my advice to you is to just reply to those curious about your life path that you are “on a journey” – YOUR journey. A unique, amazing, like-no-other journey. And embrace every bit of it. The days when you are sat looking at your bank account not knowing how you will manage to change that, the days when you have so many things to do that you don’t get to catch up with your family or friends and the days when life changing opportunities come along. Your family and friends will be there for you, they will understand and support you, but the opportunities might not be there the next day. So take them. Take them and see where they take you. You might succeed or you might learn. And I am sure you’ll love both options!

I hope this gives you a bit of relief and makes you enjoy your Sunday thinking about all the endless opportunities that are there for you. Are you ready for next week and all the great things it will bring?

Believe you are and you for sure will be!

P.S. And for the fashion bit, as I said, this is one of the most easy-to-wear outfits, so if you’re stuck, I got you covered for tomorrow, now just walk out the door with the confidence needed to own this week!

Monday – we got this!

Love, D.
