Organised

Organised

Hi darlings, Today I decided to play with pretty pale colours, and make a combination of white, beige and cappucinno! Maybe because coffee is what keeps me going, or because these colours calm me down and keep me from getting stressed and freak out. As the weeks go by, I am starting to feel how all the commitments that I took on for this year are starting to take more and more of my time. And there is a huge tendency to panic and just declare that it is just too much…But that just isn’t me, is it? So instead, I am trying to become more and more organized because I decided that my time management is essential for me to complete all my duties and still have a tiny bit of energy at the end of the day! Even more, I need to have all my things organized, so I decided that it’s time to get some new bags that would adjust to my goals! After a lot of research, I turned to www.justfab.co.uk for my picks and I chose a couple of bags that fit my style! I bought from them before so I knew they were reliable and good quality! And so I found this beauty! Which is one of the reasons why I chose beige as an outfit colour – because I wanted the bag to be the main attraction point – and yes, it succeeded! Oh, and you all know how much I adore the burgundy colour! So pretty, practical and with enough space for all my day-to-day belongings, it’s perfect! It’s the ideal...
The Layering Game

The Layering Game

Hello, hello! How’s it going? I know I have been a bit absent but I really tried, and struggled sometimes to keep you updated on my social media channels on when and why I was absent.. As I told you in my last post (catch up here) I am a workaholic, and this week the work load kind of took over, so I barely got home to sleep, and I still wrote a part of this post, but then I had some technical issues and I couldn’t upload the pictures, and then I had no more time to do it again…and instead of me staying up late and posting, I thought I’d sleep instead and wait until I have proper time and write this post. So yesterday I was in London, as you know. I was there as part of a conference held by Bright Futures National Team, as I am the Vice-president of Worcester Bright Futures. It was really good, I met loads of motivated people and I got filled with good energy! It’s a great society to be in, you meet so many interesting people and the networking opportunities are really good! So if you are a student and you have this society at your uni, you should give it a try! It was a really intense day, and a really long one though! It was worth it, but I was sooo tired (still am), but being the workaholic that I am, I am not complaining 🙂 Now let’s talk business, as in the outfit. If you have been to the UK you would know that British...
Red Riding Hood

Red Riding Hood

Hey loves, I know I promoted the Black and White look yesterday, and I still love it, and I am still looking for inspiration, and yes, you can still help! Find out how and what I am on about right here. But, let’s be honest, with all these Monochrome Mornings (you’ll get it if you read yesterday’s post, promise), I need a pop of colour though, don’t I? I don’t want to get all sad and moody, I want to be productive and creative, so best way to do that is by balancing colour and non-colour! So today we’re all happy and summery in this pretty vintage dress! Yes, my “backup storage of cool things” (it basically means I have it from my mum, but head over here if you want to catch up on it) gave me yet another pretty dress to show you all! It’s impressive how much I love vintage style while I also love new trends and modern pieces. That’s how much our mood affects what we are wearing, so you wear what you feel, same with colours, it’s impressive, isn’t it? So anyway, not so long ago, I hope, when I was a teenager, I would never go for a midi dress, I always thought it wouldn’t look good on me, and oh, boy, I was wrong! I love it! It’s a really nice length, really feminine, add some heels to it and it would be even classier! However, if, as me, you are up for a walk, just go with flats, and it will give you the perfect look! Even though I can...
Pink Ballerina

Pink Ballerina

I have always admired ballerinas and the grace which they dance with. They always put on a perfect show and don’t let you see the amount of hours that they worked and how many times they got hurt or didn’t get to eat because they were practising. All because of the amazing passion that they dance with. And even if the dance styles that I approached were far from ballet, I have always loved watching a ballet show, because they are all so pretty and classy, and they look fairytale-ish. And more than that, we all know ballet is not easy and that the dancers often go through a lot of pain while rehearsing. Even so, that pain is never seen, that struggle is never seen on stage. On stage, they play their characters to perfection. And more than the tutus (I always wanted one) and the beautiful dances, I admire their strength and discipline. Furthermore, how they teach themselves that strength and that discipline all because they love their passion and they want to succeed into fulfilling their dreams it’s truly impressive. And right here is what we all have to learn. That believing in our passion and working constantly into achieving our dreams by believing in ourselves and our passion is the key to being content with ourselves, with our work. I always try to remind myself that I have to keep going and believe in my passion, because it will eventually get me to where I want to be. And it’s hard sometimes, and letting go seems so handy sometimes, but I try to not embrace...

Like A Boy

Long time, no see! Last time I was writing I was in Romania, enjoying what was an extremely welcomed and relaxing vacation! Now I am back in Belgium, still holding to that holiday feeling, and mostly thinking about the summer ahead, but assignments are bringing me back from the clouds and reminding me that they come first, and then summer, ugh… So, I have to “man up” and stop day dreaming and actually start doing them. So, in the light of this feeling, I am presenting to you today, this boyish outfit, because, well, sometimes you feel like giving up those cute, little skirts, and have a more serious look with a masculine-cut blazer and a bold attitude! You already know that I love blazers, so since I went home with little clothes, I indulged myself with a trip to my mum’s closet where I found this beauty and I decided that it has to take a walk with me! It’s impressive how creative you have to get when you don’t have your usual clothes with you and you find yourself in front of some old clothes that you left home and then you match them with some of my mum’s – thank God – inspired wardrobe! I actually like it, it’s a challenge to match things that you don’t have in mind; however, if I have to rush and I have to do this, you might not want to be in my way, as I will be having a nervous breakdown until I find what I want. And that’s where my manly look ends and my girly attitude...
