Wrapped-up in Pink

Wrapped-up in Pink

Hey there, beautiful reader! How was your day? I am starting to see the end of this week, and with it, of this exhausting project, so my mood switches to spreading joy and smiles, so I am trying to give some of that positive vibe and optimistic energy to you too! However, the weather has not been all sunny, to match my mood. It has been mostly gloomy this week and so, even if I tried (trust me, i did), I could not stand the cold without a coat. I just hope that spring touch that I enjoyed this Sunday will come back soon enough! So since a coat was a must, I was happy to have this fluffy pink one with me! I know you’ve seen it before, but I just can’t get enough of it! It is huge, cozy, fluffy, pink and it was a great bargain!! What else do you want from a coat? Also, I love that it is so simple and easy to wear! It is such a lovely choice to go with everything: jeans, dress, skirt, everything!! Ok, I think I bored you enough with that! I’ll just let you enjoy these pictures that I actually took just outside the campus, and trust me, it’s the most beautiful surrounding because apparently, apart from this path, there is a farm near us!! Not completely sure, but at least that’s how it looks like, and I think the horses and the cows are a good sign! I am guessing it’s an university that embraces nature, literally! Anyway, walking besides them and seeing that everyday is...

Casual Chic

Good morning, darlings! I wanted to start this last working day of the week and get you into the weekend with these pictures that I shot before leaving for my holiday back home and I never got to show you. I shot them on an early morning too (hint: the big coffee mug), so I thought I’d relive the moment and this time share it with you too. I love cozy coats. They’re everything. You can just wear a simple shirt and sneak into a cozy, big coat and you’ll feel great and warm for the whole day. And if the coat comes in a great colour, then even better! As this one did. I love how the mustard colour blends in with the backround. I shot these pictures at the racecourse in Worcester and I never would have thought that they’d turn out as amazing as they did. All that green behind me just make a great contrast with this great coat. Oh, and my hat! I am in love with hats, and remember I had a post wondering what should I invest in? (here) Well, I decided to go for the hat, and I got this wool hat that is just perfect! I am really picky with hats so when I find one that looks exactly how I want it, I just go for it so here it is! To be honest, this is one of my favourite type of daily outfits: it’s simple, but classy, it’s casual, but chic, it’s really easy to come up with and it still looks good. Have a great weekend, my...

Top 5 Favourite Winter Coats

November’s here!! Already! I can’t believe how fast time flies! Anyway, this means only one thing: that we need to gather as many inspiration as possible to wear the beautiful wonter coats that we’ve all been waiting for! There has to be a good thing in all this cold coming up, right? So, today I present to you my top 5 coats to be worn during cold times. I confess some are still on my wishlist, some I couldn’t resist without, but all in all these are the coats that can keep you warm and still in style through the winter. First one is the cape. You know from the last post that I have a crush on capes, and when it comes to a cape coat, it’s even cozier! Bottom line is that it goes on my favourites list, to be worn on beautiful, but cold days. Second one is the leather jacket which may give you a tough look, but it will go amazing with skirts and girly accessories too, try it out! It doesn’t even have to be black, and then it will be even more feminine-friendly! The third one is a red coat! I am a colour lover, especially of red, because it gives you that bold, out-of-the crowd look! In these days when everyone finds black a comfortable choice, I prefer going for a strong red, it will bring colour to the streets, and to my days too! Fourth one is the fur coat! Faux fur – of course, as I am an animal lover, but I will always have a crush for these...
