Back to Business

Hey you, How’s 2018 so far? Did you get back into your rhytm after holidays, lots of food, sleep, parties and family time? Don’t worry, it takes a bit, take your time, you’ll get there. That’s what I’m telling myself as well, I had a slow start to the year, but it allowed me to really think things through and figure out what I want to focus on this year. It also allowed me to spend more time with my family, my close friends who recharged me and gave me plenty of energy to last me a while, hopefully until I see them again. I did less work that I had set myself to do because I thought spending time with them and all this recharging is more beneficial and it will also allow me, when I get back to things, to start again strong and go full speed ahead! So now that slow motion start is going on fast forward and I’m ready to get back to business and go make 2018 my year. I’m currently at the airport, ready to board, and I must say, this is my favourite place to write articles. I’m in ‘no man’s land’ with a destination ahead and hopes and dreams that need some work done for them to come true. Also, this is the airport where I’ve had the saddest departures and happiest arrivals, so it kinda became my place where I think about my life, make plans, set goals. Hope you’re ready to work your way through this year and make it your best yet! Don’t forget to also enjoy...
Red Riding Hood

Red Riding Hood

Hey loves, I know I promoted the Black and White look yesterday, and I still love it, and I am still looking for inspiration, and yes, you can still help! Find out how and what I am on about right here. But, let’s be honest, with all these Monochrome Mornings (you’ll get it if you read yesterday’s post, promise), I need a pop of colour though, don’t I? I don’t want to get all sad and moody, I want to be productive and creative, so best way to do that is by balancing colour and non-colour! So today we’re all happy and summery in this pretty vintage dress! Yes, my “backup storage of cool things” (it basically means I have it from my mum, but head over here if you want to catch up on it) gave me yet another pretty dress to show you all! It’s impressive how much I love vintage style while I also love new trends and modern pieces. That’s how much our mood affects what we are wearing, so you wear what you feel, same with colours, it’s impressive, isn’t it? So anyway, not so long ago, I hope, when I was a teenager, I would never go for a midi dress, I always thought it wouldn’t look good on me, and oh, boy, I was wrong! I love it! It’s a really nice length, really feminine, add some heels to it and it would be even classier! However, if, as me, you are up for a walk, just go with flats, and it will give you the perfect look! Even though I can...

¦¦Black & White¦¦

Hey, hey! Monday is almost over, you did it! You stood up and started yet another week, congrats! I truly hope your Monday went great and that you are ready to make the rest of the week even better! And to help you do that, I will talk some fashion inspiration today, giving you some ideas, because we all know that if there is a reason while you are late, that is because you could not decide what to wear, again… I don’t know if it’s because of this weather, my mood or what, but ever since I came to England I started having a crush on black and white. And honestly, now that I look outside the window and I see the raindrops gathering upon it, yeah, it might be the weather… Since I started feeling inspired by this combination, my next natural step was to try and express it. I began to get creative with the camera and play with shades, angles and light and I got some really nice shots. So I decided that, for as long as this crush stays with me, I will share a monochrome picture every morning with the hashtag #MonochromeMorning. Giving the fact that I don’t really feel fondly about my morning wake up call, I thought it was the best moment to share a colour free post! Up next on my “express your creativity” scale is a monochrome outfit. Ideally, more than one. So I did a bit of research and found a few outfits that I would like to invest into. I feel like it’s such a good combination,...
Untold 2015 //Day 2

Untold 2015 //Day 2

Mornin’ dears, The day you’ve all been waiting for this week is here – it’s Fridaaaay yaaay! Any plans for the weekend? I hope you have a great one planned ahead, or that you’ll be spontaneous and turn it into a great one! Whichever the case is, try to enjoy Friday too because, you know, it’s one day you never get back. And then you’ll find yourself lunging for it, so you better live for the moment and enjoy every bit of your life! When I say lunging for a moment, I picture myself still listening to live DJ sets from Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike or some of the most well-known songs of Avicii or David Guetta, and picturing myself back into those days when I was in an Untold world and I danced and sang every day and basically, lived with a constant smile on my face because of that great vibe that surrounded me! It was that freedom of being yourself and enjoying the music and living it to the fullest! Or at least that’s what my version of it is! 🙂 While on the first day I went with a basic-expected-festival outfit with boots and a jeans shirt (here if you missed it), on the second day I started warming up and anticipating that I will be jumping the whole night, so I went prepared! I put on my sneakers and there I went! Ready to dance the night away! I kept the girly thing though, I wore a dress. This dress just got my attention the moment I saw it in a fashion boutique...

Lost

Getting lost on pretty little streets is my favourite thing to do when travelling… I see it as a way of discovering the city beyond all those touristic points with big signs, that become clichés of those cities. Of course; they have their charm, and of course I am going to see them, but they are not my favourite part of traveling. You see, when I walk on these little streets, I discover more of the city, that the city itself allows us to see: I see tourists and I see locals, I see people that are living a normal day of their life and I see people that are there only for one day and are trying to make the most of it. And then I see nothing, then I just get lost in thoughts and keep walking. So I live my story while observing theirs and it’s amazing to see how we cross paths with people that we’ll never meet again (or who knows, maybe we will?) that are having a totally different day than yours. This is what it’s special with these little streets, you can personalize them to be part of your thoughts, of your story and so you’ll remember them for that. That, and also the fact that you don’t know where they lead you, so what’s coming next in your story now? Maybe that’s why I like them so much, because they are similar to my life right now, spontaneous and unpredictable. These streets are part of the Gothic Quarter (El Gòtic) in Barcelona, and even if they are in a central zone, there...
