Hometown Spell

Hometown Spell

Hi there, Hope you’ve managed to get back into the rhythm with work, school or any other cool stuff you’re doing and that your January is all smooth sailing! Because let me tell you… I thought mine would be, but clearly it isn’t. Not sure if I need to learn a lesson this month or if I have just purely forgotten how to adult, but maaaan it has not been easy to be back. I haven’t been home for such a long period of time for a couple of years now so of course I jumped at the opportunity to be home once I had it. But if you’re like me, you know that being home is nothing like your usual life. First of all, I always announce my family that when I am back I am the child of the family and I should be treated as such. I hang up my independent lifestyle as soon as I step into the house and from then on I am doing as told or being as playful and childish as I wish, because it’s the place where I can be that and nothing bad will happen aka I’ll miss uni or won’t pay attention at work or do the – oh so boring – household maintenance such as laundry and shopping for cleaning stuff and so on. Okay, I’m joking, I’m still acting as an adult, but I’m just taking it easy, you know? But this time, when I got back I just forgot how to switch ‘home mode’ off and I stayed it that easy mood as if someone...
Time Off

Time Off

Hello there, I have evaded the adult life a bit and finally went on a holiday!! I have been waiting for this to happen the whole summer! I travelled to my home town about 2 weeks ago for the Untold festival, I’m sure you saw the updates on Instagram, but I didn’t get a chance to write anything about it as I flew back the very next day and went back to work. At the end of the week I flew again, to Bucharest this time, to see Rihanna, Steve Aoki and Sia. As you can tell, very hectic, I have no idea what happened on the days between Untold and this festival as I have been working and at the same time tried to put my new house together. And yes, that is me, always on the run and always busy but this time with almost no sleep for quite a long time, it was quite hard to stay alive! However, now that I got to sleep a bit, I can say I have no regrets! Untold was absolutely amazing – well organised, great concerts and a lot of nice stuff to do around the festival! Clara, one of the photographers you have seen on the blog joined me and Deea in Cluj so we spent the days sightseeing and showing her around Cluj. It was great to share our life here with her and also, I loved it because I have missed my hometown dearly. So no sleep, but day time trips were totally worth it! Then having my last week at work was emotional – I...
Cozy Feeling

Cozy Feeling

I can’t believe that this time last week I was back home!! I went for a short while though, but you can see from the big smile on my face that I forgot about tiredness, my busy schedule, my assignments, absolutely everything for a few days and I enjoyed being at home with family and friends! It’s amazing how many people I got to see in this unexpected 5 days trip back home and I am really grateful that they all made time in their schedules to meet up and have a chat like in the old times (not that old, summer was 2 months ago though). Anyway, the first word that comes into my mind when I think of home is “cozy”, so on my first day at home I couldn’t help but dress as cozy as possible. The weather was not on my side, it was all rainy and cloudy, but we danced through it and we scaried away the clouds with our big smiles and our loud laughters. As for the cozy outfit, I chose to wear this new cape, which came at a perfect time, since it makes me feel like I am surrounded by a blanket whose sole purpose is to keep me warm and safe! What’s more cozy than that? Besides that, I have been smiling all day and running around through the city meeting old friends. It’s always good to be back home, even if only for a few days. In today’s post you get to see my “home photographers”, which are my best friend, Catalina and her amazing friend (mine too!!)...
