I am a lover of heels and sky-scrapers and as glam as possible shoes – not that my height would need any help, but heels have always been something I loved, when choosing shoes and I enjoy wearing them as often as possible. However, I have those days when I just want to be really comfortable and I feel in no mood for getting up there and spend the day above the clouds (just kidding, I probably got my head in the clouds 90% of the time, regardless of my shoes choice). Anywaysss, I might estray myself from the topic that I am trying to talk about here. So, in those no-heels days, I am looking for something comfortable – obviously, but still, I want my shoes to look good and therefore, make me feel good for wearing them. So, I think I found some that may shine (literally) as I want them too. While in Paris, during my first day there, we popped by the opening of Chiara Ferragni’s first store at Le Bon Marche where she exposed her new collection. And you know me and my guilty pleasure for sparkling things, I just loved those flats with fries or lipsticks or endless lashes! So yes, from the entire collection, these were my favourites! It’s almost midnight and Cinderella is about to change back to her daily clothes! Well, our Cinderellas this week are definitely staying even after midnight and are offering us some great inspiration to choose from when thinking of wearing and styling a stunning dress. Even in between assignments, I still couldn’t miss having a look at the gowns that celebrities decided to wear and accessorize this year at the Golden Globes Awards ceremony. As usual, elegance set the tone, and the vibe this year was sophisticate, and I really enjoyed seeing the dresses, as most of them gave the ladies wearing them a naturally flawless look, you couldn’t see that “trying too much” through them. I believe that’s great, because you know, at the end of the day, natural looks best. Also, I saw a tendency of keeping it in between either pastel colours, or a bold colour, as red or blue, but not too many colour combination, which, again, helped make the outfits look really great. Luckily for me, a lot of the beautiful ladies chose to wear sparkling details or glittery dresses, and you know me, I just love glittery dresses nicely worn, because I truly believe you can look amazing choosing glitter, it’s just that it’s easy to cross the line and make it look too much. I am so glad and grateful to be coming home for the holidays! As soon as I got in the house I could feel that “home” feeling and it filled me with joy and brought a smile on my face that didn’t go away yet and doesn’t seem to dissapear any time soon. But, apart from being at home, enjoying time with my family and catching up with good friends (and having lots of hot chocolates) what I also enjoy about coming back from Christmas is that I get to wear those clothes that I didn’t take with me. Those clothes that give me a feeling of comfort and well-being. Like this sweater for example – it is a vintage sweater that I simply adore wearing during winters! It’s cozy, it’s long and a bit baggy, so it is just perfect to keep you comfortable all day long! Oh and on top of that, it has sparkling stones and glittery words on it, so what more to ask? My point is, when I come home, especially for Christmas, I want to feel good on top of looking good, I want to create memories to take with me, I want to laugh as hard as I can with my friends and I want to share special moments with my family.
