Hello babes, That’s it, it’s summer! June is here, sun is shining, our minds are flying far away to beautiful beaches, and last but not least, our wardrobes demand to look more summerish. I’ve started created my summer 2016 wardrobe a while ago, but you know, when the weather is gloomy and windy, you don’t really feel like buying crop tops, and instead you run to the coziest of sweaters! So now that it’s finally warmer, I can indeed finalize my summer looks! Throughout June I will share with you my favourite summer pieces for this year so that by the end of the month you’ll feel fully inspired to show off your summer looks! This Monday I’m showing you my favourite tops! Some I own, some are on my wishlist, but regardless, they’re all musts for my summer! I must say, and my friends know, I’m not the best when it comes to buying tops – apart from that 99.9% of the time ending up buying a dress (oops) I have this feeling that when I buy a top I want it to be special and unique. And then I go home and I wonder why I don’t have any basics. Well, think about it, Diana. Sooo yeah, I’m working on it! Which is why I decided to make the best of both worlds and find simple tops that actually have a little detail, or they’re tailored in a special way or just choose them in a cute colour so that maybe, just maybe, I end up actually having tops in my wardrobe too, and not just dresses....

Hello darlings, I know I haven’t posted an Inspirational Monday in a while, but I thought it’d be a good moment to do that as this Monday comes right after a weekend filled with so much inspiration! If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you’d know I spent the weekend in London attending the Vogue Festival. It was the first edition I have ever attended and obviously, I was really excited! And it was all worth it, it was a great experience! The festival went on for 2 days and it was filled with a lot of great talks and masterclasses as well as a huge tent in Kensignton Gardens where fashionistas could take advantage of great offers and have some amazing experiences. The talks that I chose to attend on Saturday were Alexa Chung’s Style Clinic with Lauren Santo Domingo and Derek Blasberg and “The Allure of Paris cool” with Isabel Marant and Caroline de Maigret in conversation with Lisa Armstrong. The first show was very interesting and showed a different perspective of fashion, from 3 people with very different styles and at the same time, different inputs in the fashion world, but they all agreed that in order to make it into the fashion world you have to work your a** off, no joke! That, and that the fashion world is not such a cruel one after all and you can still be a good person and work in fashion! 🙂 The second show made me feel like I am in France at a small table in front of a cafe sipping on some good wine...

Hello darlings, Life’s been getting in the way, and it turns out I’m not as young as I once was, so I get tired more often…Kidding! But actually, I was pretty busy these days, which is why I only got to wrap up this post today, instead of yesterday. So sorry about that, and in order to make it worth it, I am showing you this outfit that I wore last weekend for a picnic by the river. It was really sunny (really unusual) so I took advantage and wore this look that brought a sailor image together with a 60s vibe given by this pretty skirt. I really loved it! You know I am always looking for new combinations, and I wouldn’t think this one could turn up so good – surprise, surprise! The beautiful weather that gave this bright light had its role, so I really hope you’ll enjoy the pictures! On another note, I have been feeding my travel bug with long walks around Worcester. It’s been really hard with my travel cravings, I’ve been checking flights and new destinations almost everyday, but I have also been on a walk everyday, so it’s ok, it’s under treatment…for now. The thing with walks in Worcester is that I always discover some new little paths or new ways of getting to a place, so it’s all about exploring, and that’s what keeps my travel bug under control, the fact that I keep seeing new things and new areas. And then, I missed the usual places, so it’s nice to go through them again. So in the end, all...

Hey babes, Another work week completed and in return, another Saturday morning without an alarm, joyful! I have decided to have more discipline in my life and not snooze my alarm at all this week, and I didn’t, not even once!! You may see it as a small thing, but it’s an achievement! I used to be really ready to get out of bed when my alarm went off and I remember that in high school I never ever snoozed it! But then, somehow, year 2 of university, and Belgium experienced a lot of snoozed alarms…And well, then I was on vacation, so no alarms at all. But I decided to bring myself on track and so I woke up every morning without snoozing my alarm, in time to cook breakfast, to pack a healthy launch and get ready! So proud! So I am celebrating this small milestone by sharing these pictures full of confidence stating that “I was born to be fabulous”! I followed my advice and decided to not be so hard on myself (the full post is here) and instead I started to support my decisions and reassure myself that I am going in the right direction. I was born to be fabulous after all, right?? Too much? Oh, okay… So this weekend is all about some relax time and preparing my next posts for you, and a lot of new stuff that I have in mind for Destray! Good vibes only! Also, I suggest you get a T-Shirt with a bold message like this one, it will make you own the day the second you...

Hi darlings, How’s your week going? Getting excited for the weekend? I say today we take things slowly, one thing at a time, step by step, and try to enjoy the journey. Every time I see that quote “People wait all week for Friday, all year for summer, all life for happiness” it just haunts me, because if we get carried away, we might actually get to spend our lives like that, waiting for better times, and I refuse that. Ever since I have come to England I have pretty much been on my own in my spare time and so it gave me a lot of time to think and of course overthink so many things. And I will be honest with you, all this thinking did not always have a good outcome. Yes, I usually am positive and confident, but, as all human beings I do break down sometimes. Because I am tired, because things don’t work, because, because… There will always be something. Or sometimes, my case really, it’s just little things that won’t work or that get me worried and so, make me put my life decisions into perspective. And that’s when all the questions start rolling in my head: did I take the right decision? should I have done that? or that? And I start getting my head around all these until I put myself down. And it’s not ok… I am all for encouraging yourself and giving yourself the courage and the determination to go for it and make bold decisions, but then, when does that empowerment  turn into self-criticism? My friends always...
