Vogue Festival Day 2

Vogue Festival Day 2

Hello babes, The second and final outfit from the Vogue Festival is finally up now! I know, it took a while, but I really loved wandering back through my mind to that weekend, now that it’s been a month since I came back! Similar to my outfit for the first day (you can see it here) I went for jeans and a vintage top. I dropped the heels and wore a more casual look by walking in these Oxord style shoes. This shirt is a very, very old one that my mum almost had to convince me to keep a few years ago, and I’m so glad I did! It belonged to her, and I always liked something about it, but I never really knew where to wear it or what with, so I ended up never wearing it! I thought this would be a good combination so I took it with me to London and I’m glad I did. As I travelled only for the weekend, I had a very light luggage hence why I tried to keep my outfits simple. However, this is the Vogue Festival we’re talking about, so of course I wanted to wear stylish looks and pretty clothes, so I think I managed to do both things – travel light and dress accordingly. This top got a lot of appreciation on the day as everyone was asking me where is it from, and was not expecting my answer! If you have followed me for a while now, you must have noticed that I really love the mixture of brands and vintage pieces, I feel like...
Vogue Festival Day 1

Vogue Festival Day 1

After quite some days, here it is – my outfit from the first day of the Vogue Festival. It’s been a while but I still have the same strong feelings about it – I loved it! Being surrounded by fashion minded people and inspiring outfits was amazing! The first day was all about workshops so it was a great chance for me to reinforce my fan girling for Alexa Chung, and to adore even more the French style! More over, it was a day of inspiration career wise, as I was admiring all these people for how focused and hard working they are and I was filled with motivation to be the same and stick to my goals, and who knows, maybe I will work in fashion one day too? As for my outfit, you have to know that I travelled light, very light, so I had a few key pieces that I could work around with. And for both days I chose to mix a vintage piece (courtesy of my stylish mum, of course) with a high street brand. And I loved the results! For my first day I went with this blazer that is very close to my heart (hence why you’ve seen it before hehe) because I really like the colour and the way it’s tailored, paired it with black jeans and added simple heels to it. Of course, I wanted to make it a bit special so I included a little accessory – a black bow. I was really happy with my choice and I really liked the way it all went together with the...
All things Vogue

All things Vogue

Hello darlings, I know I haven’t posted an Inspirational Monday in a while, but I thought it’d be a good moment to do that as this Monday comes right after a weekend filled with so much inspiration! If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you’d know I spent the weekend in London attending the Vogue Festival. It was the first edition I have ever attended and obviously, I was really excited! And it was all worth it, it was a great experience! The festival went on for 2 days and it was filled with a lot of great talks and masterclasses as well as a huge tent in Kensignton Gardens where fashionistas could take advantage of great offers and have some amazing experiences. The talks that I chose to attend on Saturday were Alexa Chung’s Style Clinic with Lauren Santo Domingo and Derek Blasberg and “The Allure of Paris cool” with Isabel Marant and Caroline de Maigret in conversation with Lisa Armstrong. The first show was very interesting and showed a different perspective of fashion, from 3 people with very different styles and at the same time, different inputs in the fashion world, but they all agreed that in order to make it into the fashion world you have to work your a** off, no joke! That, and that the fashion world is not such a cruel one after all and you can still be a good person and work in fashion! 🙂 The second show made me feel like I am in France at a small table in front of a cafe sipping on some good wine...
